HMS Irresistible Wreck

There has been considerable documentation of wreck of the Irresistible, carried out by archaeologists at the Bermuda Maritime Museum.

The figurehead of Neptune was taken to the United Kingdom and restored. A concrete casting was left at the Maritime Museum

Lying predominantly underwater but against the shore are the iron remains of The Irresistible, a very large ship run aground for scrap inside the southern bay of Marshall’s island. Large pieces of iron are strewn across the edge of the shore with what looks like a piece of her rudder gudgeon and timber on the shore itself

An Archive document from the turn of the century outlining the location of known wrecks in Bermuda could be indicating the location of this ship.
