Our Wildlife Receipt Centre (WRC) at BAMZ is responsible for the receipt and, if necessary, rehabilitation of local wildlife. This does not include feral, pet or domestic animals like chickens, dogs or pigs.
Doing research for a project? The Natural History Library is available to the public by appointment. We have extensive collections of books and documents all about Bermuda's natural history.
Licenses and permits can be issued to allow activities to be carried out on protected species and historic wrecks, that would otherwise be prohibited by their respective legislation.
DENR is responsible for the maintenance of the environmentally friendly moorings that have been installed on the reef at a number of popular dive and snorkel sites around Bermuda.
