Rosy Wolf Snail (Euglandina rosea)

The Rosy Wolf Snail is a predatory snail that has been introduced to places like Hawaii and Bermuda as a biological control for agricultural pests. It was introduced to Bermuda to prey on the Milk Snail. Unfortunately it also preys on the endemic land snails Poecilozonites bermudensis and Poecilozonites circumfirmatus, and has played a role in the near-extinction of both species.
