The Milk Snail or Edible Snail (Otala lactea)

The Milk Snail was introduced to Bermuda as a food item. This species eats a variety of plant species and has become a garden pest. The Rosy Wolf Snail was introduced to Bermuda as a biological control to control the Milk Snail.
