Residents can submit a request to have feral birds removed from their property or any public lands. Once a request is received, a technical officer will visit the site to assess the situation and determine the most effective control method. Depending on the circumstances, this may involve traps, nets, licensed shooting, or the use of sedative bait.
How can I see what’s being done?
In addition to submitting requests, the Feral Bird Management Dashboard lets residents see where control actions are taking place and how many feral birds have been removed by species. Updated nightly, the dashboard is available in both desktop and mobile versions and allows users to explore activity over timeframes of 3, 7, 30, or 90 days.
