NBC’s Kerry Saunders turned to Custodian of Historic Wrecks, Dr Philippe Rouja, to investigate the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle.

Love it or hate it, the Bermuda Triangle has quite literally put Bermuda on the map. Referring to the vast area of ocean between Bermuda, Florida and Puerto Rico, the Bermuda Triangle has fascinated the world for decades, with mysterious stories of sunken ships and disappearing planes.

Referring to the Bermuda Triangle mysteries as ‘the oldest fake news in the world’, Dr Rouja offers ‘a more grounded theory’ (Saunders), as he takes Saunders for a dive on one of the many shipwreck sites scattered around the island.
