In December 2012 this female Giant Land Crab was found on the side of a road near the south shore of Bermuda. Recognizing the danger she was in we decided to move her to a safer, more crab friendly location in the mangroves of the Hungry Bay nature reserve.
While seeming uncertain at first you can see she quickly made herself at home beneath the Red Mangrove roots.
We hope she is happy in her new home!
