The Bermuda Zoological Society is seeking to contract a Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) Specialist for the Bermuda Ocean Prosperity Programme (BOPP), an exciting initiative resulting from the partnership of the Waitt Institute with The Government of Bermuda’s Ministry of Home Affairs and Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS).
Qualified candidates should have project management skills and demonstrated ability in translating spatial recommendations to policy documents. The ideal applicant will thrive in a fast pace environment and be able to collaborate effectively with a wide variety of people from government officials to fishers. This is not an academic research position.
