Our Custodian of Historic Wrecks, Dr Philippe Max Rouja, met up with Alexander Rosen of CNN Travel, to dive into the stories of Bermuda's maritime history.

Bermuda is a nation based on ship wrecks, according to Rouja. "We are essentially ship wreck survivors".

With beautiful underwater and drone footage, Dr Rouja describes the importance of combining scientific research with local knowledge of our maritime history, to conserve Bermuda's shipwrecks and the fragile environment that surrounds them.
